Hey Alexa! First off, your website looks awesome and is organized really well. You did a really good job creating a multimedia project. I’m really interested on seeing what you decide to write for your page on gamers and nongamers. I think in some sense everyone is a gamer, even if they aren’t people that participate in video games, they have played other sorts of games. I am interested in seeing the definition you create for nongamers.
Alexa,
I think your website looks awesome! It’s very clean-looking and organized really well. You bring up a lot of interesting points, and I think your PLAY page is the strongest page of your website so far. I like that it has pictures integrated within the text, and I definitely think this fits the framework for the transmedial project. I’m also really interested to see how you are going to develop your self-deception page. I think in a lot of ways play itself can be deceiving, so linking this idea to gaming is an interesting thought that I have not yet come across. Overall, very good work. I can’t wait to see the finished project!
Hey! It looks like your project is going great so far! I really like how you seem to be going into a deep psychological analysis, and think it reads pretty well. The main suggestion I would give would be to add pictures to the first page and the Rules page; as it is, they are basically walls of text with nothing to break them up. You do an excellent job with incorporating outside media on the Play page, so just expand that into other pages.
