In the sense that “most video games have puzzle elements, with many challenges calling for identifying patterns and creating cause-and-effect reactions” (like M. Brandon Roberts says), then, yes, our game may be considered a puzzle game.

Does this game appeal to all personality types?

Studies have shown that, since our game may only take around one hour of play time, that it would most appeal to Sentinels and Explorers. You can read more about thisĀ here. Also, you can check out Elliott’s project on personality and play here.

Is your game intended to create an emotional response?

In short, yes. David Heineman says that “a defining aspect of video games is their ability to create a more intense emotional response than other media due to their representational and interactive qualities.” This game is intended to make you feel, think, and put yourself in the emotional headspace of the characters in our game–a game is a unique space where this is possible!
