There is literally nothing like it from the aesthetic choices in an 8-bit like appearance to the expansive creations that people have made within the game, Minecraft is a creative spectacle for gamers. Minecraft until recently was a creation game surrounding different types of resources, different animals, and various harmful creatures. Recently, minecraft was given a new story mode that takes advantage of quick-time events and story immersion. Primarily, Minecraft is known for it\u2019s architectural basis in creation. This aspect of Minecraft is what teaches players the most out of the rest of the game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ever since it\u2019s release in 2009, Minecraft has been growing and growing in the literal sense and popularity sense. When taking all of the creations within the world of Minecraft, those creations amount to the same size as the planet Neptune. The actual planet of Neptune. That is insane to comprehend. I\u2019ve only played Minecraft for a few moments because it\u2019s not my style of game but even if I did play a lot of Minecraft, I would never be able to make the intricate creations that some of these players make. Without my contribution in anyway, the game has amassed a certain popularity unprecedented by other games. Several conventions, various pieces of merchandise, and a fan base that spans all ages has evolved from this simple game. The game is thoroughly enjoyed by the littlest of kids and the oldest of adults; thanks to the simple mechanics of the game. Like most player bases though, gamers will find some way to increase the difficulty within the most simple games.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minecraft players create insane servers either from their own ideas and creativity or using inspiration from other forms of entertainment. Some creations are recreations of historical monuments and landmarks from real life.You can see a list of some of the most impressive creations in the video included by watchmojo.com. Some of my favorites are the servers made from Hogwarts. I\u2019m not that big of a Harry Potter fan but seeing a recreation of Hogwarts, who wouldn\u2019t get a little shocked? Another genre that baffles me are the completely original city creations. These cities need an impressive amount of specific creativity that is only guided into a deeper sense of the word.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creativity is a skill that every adult needs in some fashion no matter the life choice. In Minecraft, young architects are fostered and trained through the servers of Minecraft or they increase their creativity abilities by practice, practice, and more practice. Johann Huizinga writes about games being a sort of training for later in life in his book Homo Ludens. In the first chapter, The Nature and Significance of Play as a Cultural PHenomenon, he argues that, \u201c&#8230;play constitutes a training of the young creature for the serious work that life will demand later on\u201d (Homo Ludens, 2). Playing games gives gamers a sense of training for the skills that they\u2019ll need at some point in their life. The case can even be made for Minecraft to be a sort of basic training for some architecture knowledge. With these insane creations requiring so much determination, creativity, and knowledge, it\u2019d be a waste for the Minecraft creators to not create something in real life.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minecraft is a unique game to say the least.
