This article discusses the potential gaming has as a writing topic in to learn and discuss democratic learning in a new light. It offers a distinction between \u201cgame\u201d and \u201cgaming\u201d, and compares a learning environment such as a classroom to a communicative gaming environment which can also be a learning setting. Two interviews are presented in the article with expert student-gamers. It discusses gaming and writing, and the different ways one can learn how to play a certain game whether it be through the visuals of the game and instincts of the player, or through a textual tutorial. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
