This game is not like most games played by teens or adults. Depressionquest is type of simulation game that gives people the opportunity to understand how the mind of someone with depression works. While going through the game, some ‘choices’ are crossed out in red and not clickable, but the player can still read what is there. Although the player may want to choose what is crossed out because they do not have depression in real life, the game makes the player realize that it is not even an option for a person suffering from depression.\u00a0 This aspect of the game helps the player better understand the thought processes of someone with depression and how this disease affects their way of thinking.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
